Our training and coaching programmes will often include a pre and post assessment of a number of key physiological parameters. These can include any of the following:
- Heart Rate Variability
- Hormonal Profiling
- Nutritional Profiling
- Food Intolerance Testing
- Sleep Profiling
Heart
Rate Variability (HRV)
Working in collaboration with the world's leading manufacturers of non-invasive
cardiovascular equipment, we have developed three levels of technology
designed to assess HRV and support our Coaching & Training Programmes:
- Screening Technology
- Risk Assessment Technology
- Coaching & Feedback Technology
Our Screening
Technology monitors an individual's heart beat (ECG) for 10 minutes
generating an instant report. This technology makes it possible to quickly
screen a large group of people or an entire workforce and identify those
individuals at high risk of ill health.
Our Risk Assessment Technology investigates
the high-risk individuals and is also used to asses the health risk
of leaders. This digital Holter technology quantifies the extent of
the risk and provides detailed information on many aspects of an individual's
physiology and performance.
Our CardioSense
Trainer™ biofeedback technology tracks your heart rate and
breathing pattern and is used to coach individuals into high performance
states. This technology can be loaded onto an individual's personal
computer or networked across an organisation and used to track an individual's
progress over time.
Hormonal Profiling
One of the most significant influences on an individual’s performance
is their hormonal function. It is possible to assess an individual’s
hormonal function by collecting salivary samples. For example, through
saliva we can measure an individual’s DHEA and cortisol levels,
both of which have been shown to influence human performance.
In fact the Cortisol:DHEA ratio has been shown to be the best biological
marker of aging and has been related to a wide variety of different
diseases.
As part of our Leadership Coaching Programme, we assess your hormonal
function during a normal working day by asking you to collect four salivary
samples for analysis.
Nutritional Profiling
It is clear that what we eat can influence our performance in a number
of ways. When appropriate, we assess an individual’s nutritional
status. This includes:
- A full biochemistry profile
- Fatty Acid profiles (red blood cell & plasma)
- Antioxidant & Functional B vitamin profile
- Full trace element screen & mineral profile
- Homocysteine Levels
- Antigliadin and Endomyseal Antibodies
- Skin allergy assessment (optional)
Food Intolerance
Our performance, particularly our intellectual performance, can be inhibited
on a daily basis by the food we eat. While food allergy is relatively
rare, when we have antibodies to certain food stuffs food intolerance
is quite common.
Food intolerance can cause a whole array of non-specific symptoms such
as bloating, abdominal cramps, headaches, irritability and poor concentration.
As part of our assessment of your physical state, we often organise
a food intolerance testing.
Many labs can perform food intolerance testing but very few have actually
subjected their testing process to rigorous scientific evaluation.
Furthermore, the real value-add is to be able to relate the food intolerance
test results to your nutritional habits and then offer expert, scientifically
valid advice based on that testing.

The distance between each heartbeat is constantly changing. This is
called Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
